Teacher/facilitator

The role of the Teacher/facilitator is an essential part of our educational program. Individuals will facilitate learning in a multi-age classroom setting to support students with diverse learning needs. Expertise and experience working with students of varying abilities are critical in creating an inclusive and highly supportive learning environment. 

Responsibilities:

-Provide individualized support to students with diverse learning needs, including but not limited to students with learning disabilities, developmental delays, and gifted abilities.

- Facilitate multi- age group through discussions and activities to promote collaboration and problem-solving

- Guide participants through the learning process and ensure a positive and engaging experience

-Collaborate with other teachers to modify and adapt curriculum to meet the unique needs of each student, ensuring an inclusive and equitable learning experience.

-Implement various instructional strategies to address various learning styles and abilities, ensuring all students can actively participate in the learning process.

-Regularly assess and monitor student's progress, providing feedback to teachers and parents to track individual progress and make appropriate adjustments to support student growth.

-Integrate and utilize assistive technologies and educational resources to enhance the learning experience for students with diverse needs.

-Participating in relevant professional development opportunities and staying up to date on the lastest best practices in inclusive education.

- Create and maintain a positive, respectful, and supportive inclusive environment for all participants to participate
- Prepare materials and resources needed for each session

Requirements:

Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Education, Special Education, or a related field.

Previous experience working with children with diverse learning needs.

Familiarity with the principles of inclusive education and differentiated instruction.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively.

Ability to adapt and be flexible in a diverse classroom environment.

Background check/drug screen required

Teaching certification and licensure preferred
