I had the pleasure of working with the Learn to Thrive Students during the 2024-25 school year as well as during their 2025 Summer Camp. The staff and students were awesome to work with. The students were eager to learn and enjoyed my weekly culinary and dance lessons. I was thankful for the teacher assistance that was made available to me throughout my weekly classes. I have not been back in the classroom for years, so it took some time to adjust to handling 5+ students at one time. Overall, I would recommend this micro school to parents who are looking for smaller classroom sizes and a more hands on approach to learning if public school is not your thing. They are located in Brandon and host their classes at a church which gives them their own designated space and access to a lot of amenities.

Step Up for Students recommended them for my daughter's mandatory PEP nationally normed reference test; following the direction of Step Up for Students, I purchased the test from Learn to Thrive under their listing in My Providers. I waited a few days and received nothing in our account or by email. So I then proceeded to their website and submitted a form request (which is the only form of contact they offer on the website) a couple times, asking that they send the test to my email address. It's been almost 3 weeks and I've received no response. They took over $100 from my daughter's scholarship funds and provided us with nothing in return. This test is required to be submitted before the end of June so I will have to spend more money to purchase the test through a more reliable source, just to make sure we get her scores turned in on time. I have also alerted Step Up for Students to stop recommending this place for testing.

Having my son attend Learn to Thrive has been an amazing experience for both of us! The students, staff, parents and teachers are all welcoming and friendly. I love the way the kids all get along and support one another..there is so much kindness there among everyone. My son is in first grade and thriving, he is able to learn at his own pace and if there is an area of concern I love how his teachers or Ms. K will quickly communicate that to me as well as their plan to help him along the way. There is literally no child left behind at this school! I also love the flexible schedules, extracurricular/Stem classes and activities as well as the field trips. My son loves going to school everyday and will sometimes ask me to take him on weekends. Learn to Thrive is a dream come true for us, my son has come such a LONG way in a short period of time since being here. If you're looking for a safe, welcoming, all inclusive environment with a strong academic platform, daily activities, Stem classes, field trips, hands on learning and so much more..Learn to Thrive may be the perfect fit for your child! We have never been more grateful for Mrs. K and her team!

We are so happy to have found this wonderful educational institution! My boys love going to school, learning, and making friends. It’s such a valuable asset for families who are on the homeschool hybrid path. The teachers and principal are incredibly communicative, supportive, and truly care about the kids’ growth and well-being. We couldn’t ask for a better environment for our children to thrive. Highly recommend!

My daughter loves going to Learn to Thrive! I am very particular about who I trust with my child and Ms. K and the staff are wonderful. This is a place where they really get to know your child and meet them where they are at. Academically and socially they do everything they can to make sure your child is enjoying themselves while learning. I am so grateful we found this learning center, it’s been a gift for my daughter.

Ms.Kay and her staff has been a blessing for our child. We are very fortunate to have found this facility. They understand and are there for your child, through the good and guide them through their struggles. Our child never complained once about not wanting to go to school. I have never had to question if this is the right place for my child.
